LIDD was founded in Montréal in 2009. From the very beginning, LIDD’s founders have been dedicated to the promotion of logistics intelligence and the design of superior distribution operations. Today, with offices in Montréal, Toronto, Los Angeles, and Seoul, LIDD counts more than sixty employees. With Charles Fallon as President, LIDD has grown to become a North American leader in supply chain strategy, design, and optimization.

David Beaudet Principal

David has worked on a wide range of logistics mandates across North America since 2004. He has been involved in network design, warehouse design and expansion, process re-engineering and the selection of warehouse management systems. His experience lies within all segments of the food industry, pharmaceuticals as well as industrial distribution. David holds a master’s degree in Logistics from HEC Montréal.

Charles Fallon President

Charles has been working as a supply chain consultant since 1998. He has worked with clients at all levels of the supply chain, from manufacturers to retailers, in a wide array of industries including food, pharmaceuticals, garments and construction materials. He has extensive experience in supply chain strategy, technology, facility design & implementation and operations. Charles holds a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from McGill University in Montreal.

Jean-Martin Roux Principal

Jean-Martin has been a logistics applications and integration specialist since 2005 and helpclients throughout North America implement supply chain technology. He has worked with clients on all facets of their supply chain application park: Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Jean-Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from ETS Montreal.

Gabrielle Tiven Principal

Gabrielle has worked in warehouse design and management since 2006. She managed operations and technology projects at FreshDirect, the online grocer in New York City, and product development for work stations and storage units at Kiva (now Amazon Robotics). In addition to working with LIDD clients on their fulfillment and distribution systems, Gabrielle runs finance and administration for the firm. Gabrielle holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Jesse Micak Principal, Broker

Jesse has worked in real estate and facilities consulting services since 2011, and has successfully completed assignments for food, automation, government and consumer packaged goods organizations. Formerly a Vice President of Industrial Services with a leading real estate consulting firm, he is now the Principal and Broker of Record at LIDD’s real estate advisory practice. Jesse is an Ironman Triathlete and holds a degree in Environmental Studies from Lakehead University. In 2018 and 2014 he was recognized by CoStar as one of Toronto’s top industrial real estate professionals.

Harris Hong Principal

Harris has been a pioneer in online grocery, having led, among other accomplishments, the commissioning and launch of Korea’s first online grocery fulfillment center for Shinsegae. He has a wealth of experience with over 15 years of relevant work that focused on logistics, business development and eCommerce strategy planning & implementation. Harris holds a degree in Business Administration from Seoul National University.

Germán Alonso Director

Germán has deep experience in leading and implementing new processes and services, process re-engineering and IT applications. Prior to LIDD, he coordinated monthly and annual activities related to managing a $300M pipeline of projects and initiatives, their approval, funding and progress through delivery. He joined LIDD as a Director and manages teams of engineers designing and implementing distribution centres across North America and improving distribution networks for companies across different industries. Germán holds a B.Eng. from Universidad de Los Andes and an MBA from McGill University.

Sean Butler Managing Director
Sean Butler Managing Director

Sean Butler is the managing director of LIDD’s Los Angeles office. He leads LIDD’s global Demand Chain and Strategy Practices. Sean is an expert in the consumer products & retail industries.  

At LIDD, Sean advises boards and executives on supply chain reorganization, including strategies for the selection and implementation of new software systems, distribution centers, 3PL partners, and organizational structures. Sean also works to identify acquisition and merger targets, and to manage the efficient integration of supply chains, pre- and post-closing. Sean advises large CPG and retail companies on process and organizational integration with start-ups, as subsidiaries and/or commercial partners. 

Prior to his career in consulting, Sean was instrumental in the design and scale of key innovations in the consumer products and retail industries. He served as Senior Vice President at meal kit company Chef’d, Head of Operations, Partnerships & Business Development at Purple Carrot, the leading plant-based meal kit brand, and in key leadership roles at LeanBox, the unattended workplace foodservice retailer. 

Sean holds a BS in Finance from Fordham University.

Mathieu Galipeau Director

Mathieu integrates distribution technologies and optimizes supply chain infrastructure for clients across different industries. He has successfully managed more than 15 business software solution projects, that focuses on systems such as: Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Mathieu is a graduate from École de Technologie Supérieure de Montréal (ETS) with a degree in Operations and Logistics Engineering.

Cecilia Gillson-Tran Director
Cecilia Gillson-Tran Director

Cecilia Gillson-Tran is a Director with LIDD’s Design team at our Toronto offices. She brings over ten years of business transformation consulting experience to the company’s practice. Her industry expertise extends across CPG, retail, transportation, and manufacturing.

Prior to joining LIDD, Cecilia was weathered at several Big Four firms where she acquired extensive business process expertise and operational management experience. From strategy to execution, Cecilia has delivered tangible solutions to Global 500 companies in organizational design, process improvements, and systems deployment, helping them address operational challenges and deliver their best to their customers.

Cecilia is fluent in English and Cantonese. She holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of Aberdeen.

Chris Hagle Director

Christopher Hagle is a Director with LIDD’s Design team at our Toronto offices. He is responsible for managing client relationships and leading teams of designer in the execution of projects such as network studies, warehouse designs and implementation, and operational process improvements. He has deep industry expertise in Retail, CPG, Grocery, Alcohol, Cannabis, and eCommerce.

Chris began his career on the warehouse floor, supervising distribution operations at Canadian Tire. Soon thereafter, he was implementing process improvements that drove positive value across local and national supply chains. Prior to joining LIDD, Christopher was working as a supply chain transformation executive. He has helped the Liquor Control Board of Ontario and other large North American distribution companies achieve large-scale transformational projects such as distribution centre implementations. Throughout his career, Chris has leveraged his experience to design and implement efficient end-to-end supply chain infrastructure solutions.

Christopher holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Ryerson University.

Jennifer has executed numerous distribution center design, expansion and implementation projects focusing on food, beverage and consumer goods. Her work involves helping clients design, justify and implement facilities’ infrastructure, e-commerce platforms and meal-solution operations. Jennifer holds a degree in Civil Engineering from McGill University.

Angelika has more than 10 years of experience in integrating distribution technologies in supply chain operations, and has successfully managed numerous WMS Solochain implementation projects. She worked as an IT Director at one of the biggest Canadian publishing companies, and joined LIDD as a Director. Angelika holds a bachelor’s degree in Operations and Logistics Engineering and a DESS’s degree in Innovation Management from École de Technologie Supérieure de Montréal.

Hendrik Teixeira Director

Hendrik Teixeira is a Director with LIDD’s Technology Solutions department. Currently working from North Carolina, he manages client relationships and leads teams of analysts, developers, and programmers in the conception and implementation of business software solutions. Over the last 25 years, Hendrik has garnered high level expertise in various industries such as Retail, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, 3PL, Petrol, and manufacturing.

Hendrik has been developing Microsoft Dynamics solutions and offering technology consulting services to companies since 2006. He has experience working in boutique consulting firms as well as for worldwide organisations like Ernst & Young. In 2014, Hendrik founds TM ERP Consulting, a firm dedicated to the promotion of best I.T. practices and the implementation of end-to-end technology solutions. Throughout his career, he has helped the likes of Puma Energy, LinkFresh, GroupO, GameStop, and Lynco Products achieve better results by developing and integrating optimally fitted software architecture.

At LIDD, Hendrik leverages his deep experience with Microsoft Dynamics to develop, implement, and integrate ERP solutions that enable word-class operations for our clients. Always abreast of the most recent developments in the field, he helps LIDD in its perpetual mission to align its products and services offering with current industry best practices.

Hendrik is fluent in English and Portuguese. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from ICL Portugal. He is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional and a member of the Microsoft Partner Research Panel.

Ben Vanderbeek Director

Ben has more than 10 years of experience in leading technology teams, with numerous implementations and integrations of NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software within distribution, ecommerce, and manufacturing industries. He leads the ERP practice at LIDD, including projects to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP, and integrate with the Generix Solochain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). Ben holds a BS in Computer Science from California State University Long Beach and has earned certifications as a NetSuite Administrator and a NetSuite ERP Consultant.

Steve Zerter Senior Designer

Steve has close to 30 years of relevant experience in consulting for facility engineering as a designer. His expertise covers 300+ design projects, 60+ implementations, and hundreds of facility physical audits. His knowledge of facility design and optimization spans across different industries: food and beverage, traditional and online retail, meal solutions and many more. Steve studied Fine Arts at John Abbott College.
